Tritax Big Box announces that it has received planning consent* and exchanged contracts with a world leading on-line retailer to pre-let a new Mega Box logistics building. The pre-let and planning consent (the Project) covers the Phase 2 and part of Phase 3 plots of the Company’s Littlebrook, Dartford development, comprising a c.2.3 million sq ft logistics building on 35.5 acres within London’s orbital M25 motorway and next to critical transport infrastructure.
The Board of Directors of Tritax Big Box REIT plc (ticker: BBOX) announces that full planning permission has been obtained for the development of a new regional distribution centre (“RDC”) at Symmetry Park, Biggleswade, pre-let to The Co-op Food Group, part of The Co-operative Group Ltd. This represents the first pre-let development from the db Symmetry (“DBS”) strategic land portfolio acquired by the Company in February 2019. Contracts were originally exchanged between db Symmetry and The Co-op Food Group in November 2018, conditional on full planning consent.

development of a new logistics sortation centre
at Haydock, St Helens, Merseyside, pre-let to a
financially robust world leading retailer. The
price represents a maximum commitment of
£68.7 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 4.9%
(net of acquisition costs to the Company), rising
to 5.4% at the first rent review in 2024(1).
